A draft document of the Community Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the Northwest Regional Economic Development District (consisting of Flathead, Lake, Lincoln and Sanders Counties) is now available for public reivew. The Mission of Lake County Community Development Corporation is to "enhance the quality of life and economic well-being of all residents of Lake County and the Flathead Indian Reservation"
Governed by a volunteer board of directors and managed by a small professional staff, this countywide development corporation has proven to be exceedingly effective for Lake County. Our collective efforts have resulted in economic development, affordable housing and community infrastructure projects worth more than $58 million since 1995. Business development activities have created or retained more than 500 jobs in the local economy.
